In Spanish, like many other languages, sometimes it can be quite tricky to know how to write correctly. That’s why today I’d like to teach a few basic rules so that you can choose correctly between “m” or “n”.

1. You’ll use “m” before a syllable that begins with “p”

2. You’ll use “m” before a syllable that begins with “b”

3. You’ll use “m” before “n”

  • Alumno
  • Gimnasio
  • Ómnibus

4. You’ll “n” before a syllable that begins with “v”

grammar rules: “n”

5. You’ll use “n” before a syllable that begins with “f”

  • Enfermo
  • Infierno
  • Enfriar
